An important aspect of COLF’s Secondary Education Program is the High School Social Action Program (HSSAP). The program aims to provide students with numerous opportunities to interact with the children and families in social institutions and urban poor communities by giving them a close view of their everyday lives. The ability to work with people in these particular settings is necessary for expanding their mindset on social issues across the board.
We are fully committed to helping our students understand the needs of our society at large through an integration of their school work and engaging outdoor activities. It is our goal that these experiences will also help them develop empathy and compassion throughout the course of their academic life. The following activities have been prepared for children based on their ages:
- Storytelling
- Story-based Art Activities
- Interactive Games
- Group Singing and Dancing
- Food Sharing
Personal growth is just as important to our students, and having them take part in these activities will go a long way to molding them into the future of our country.
